100% Pure Point Reyes
I would love to turn you on to Point Reyes! These photographs show amazing places, and carefully chosen moments of time. After 40 years in the darkroom, I mostly print digitally with an archival Canon printer, using the highest quality papers and inks. My prints are more expressive now. I can do more with contrast and texture, while reducing imperfections. The illusion that photographs are a window depends on clarity It takes a lot of field work to get the right image, and much follow-through to get great prints, but I still love it. - Richard Blair
Sometimes McClures Beach has wild, churning waves. When the swells come from the northwest, the rocky point in their path causes dramatic effects of pounding water. It is dangerous, but beautiful to be there. Never turn your back to the sea!
